The57th Academy of Country Music Awards were held on April 3, 2022, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The ceremony was broadcast live on CBS at 8:00 pm EDT and hosted by Reba McEntire. The show featured live performances by 34 artists, including Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, George Strait, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini.

The show began with a tribute to country music legend Charlie Daniels, who died on July 6, 2020. Urban performed Daniels’ “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.”

The evening’s big winner was Miranda Lambert, who took home the award for Entertainer of the Year for the second time in her career. Lambert also won Female Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for Wildcard.

Other winners included Brooks & Dunn ( Duo of the Year), Little Big Town ( Vocal Group of the Year), Midland ( New Artist of the Year), Grayton United Methodist Church Choir ( Musical Event of the Year) and Jimmy Allen ( Video of the Year).
