ACM Awards Show
The Academy of Country Music Awards is an annual awards show that celebrates the best in country music. This year’s show is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in recent memory, with some of the biggest names in country music set to perform. Here’s what you can expect from the 2021 ACM Awards.
ACM Awards Show date and time
The 56th ACM Awards are scheduled to air on Sunday, April 18, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. The show was originally supposed to take place in Nashville on April 5, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The awards show will be held at three different venues this year: the Bluebird Cafe, Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry House. All three locations have been integral parts of country music history and are iconic venues in Nashville.
This year’s show will be hosted by 15-time ACM Award winner Keith Urban. This will be Urban’s second time hosting the show; he previously served as host in 2005.
The Academy of Country Music has also announced that there will be several musical collaborations during the show, including a performance by Carrie Underwood with Joan Jett & The Blackhearts. Other performers include Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris and Thomas Rhett.

ACM Awards Show location
The 2021 Academy of Country Music Awards show will be held on Sunday, April 18 at 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS. The show will be taking place at the cowboy-themed hotel and casino, The Venetian Las Vegas. This is the first time in seven years that the ACMs have been held in Las Vegas.
The awards show will feature performances from some of country music’s biggest stars, including Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett and Chris Stapleton. Maren Morris is also set to perform, as well as duo Dan + Shay. Luke Bryan and Jimmie Allen will team up for a performance, while Miranda Lambert will take the stage with Elle King.
ACM Awards Show host
The upcoming 54th annual ACM Awards show is set to air live on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 8pm ET on CBS. The awards show was originally scheduled to take place in Nashville, TN, but was moved to Los Angeles, CA due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
This year’s show will be hosted by returning host Keith Urban. This will be Urban’s fourth time hosting the ACM Awards show. The country music star is also nominated for four awards this year, including Entertainer of the Year and Male Artist of the Year.
Other nominees this year include Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris and Carrie Underwood. Lambert is the most nominated artist this year with nine nominations, while Underwood and Morris are tied with eight nominations each.

The Academy of Country Music Awards were handed out on Sunday night (April 18), with Thomas Rhett and Maren Morris taking home the top prize of the evening, Entertainer of the Year.
Rhett and Morris were both double winners on the night, with Rhett also taking home Male Artist of the Year, while Morris was honored with Female Artist of the Year.
Dan + Shay won Duo of the Year, while Old Dominion took home Group of the Year. In a rare tie, Miranda Lambert and Ashley McBryde were named joint winners of Album of the Year for their respective albums “Wildcard” and “Never Will.”
