The Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stones are an English rock band formed in London in 1962. During this period – between 1968 and 1972 – they toured continuously and extremely extensively for what has come to be known as their “World Tour”. They became one of the first British bands to make successful tours across continental Europe . Despite all this activity – including touring North America again for four months during June–August 1969 – they still found time to produce what has come to be seen as two classic studio albums: Let It Bleed (1969) and Sticky Fingers (1971).
