Okay Records is a Canadian-based independent electronic dance music record label. Our goal is to promote the best new Canadian and international EDM talent and to help grow the dance music scene in Canada. Company Background
In 2012, two long-time friends and electronic music enthusiasts, Charlotte de Montigny and Frederik Leblanc-Lebel, decided to take their shared passion for music to the next level by starting their own record label.
Establishment
Okay, stylized as OKAY., is a Canadian-based independent electronic dance music record label, focused on releasing quality dance music from a variety of artists. The label was established in 2013 by co-founders Patrick Miller and James Rowlinson, and has since released music from the likes ofJackLNDN, Medasin, Robotaki, and other up-and-coming producers.
A&R Team
The A&R team at Okay consists of music industry professionals who are responsible for finding and developing new talent. They work with artists to help them hone their craft and grow their careers. The team also works closely with other members of the label, including the marketing, sales, and promotion teams, to ensure that each artist’s career is given the best possible chance for success.

Notable Artists
Founded in 1997 by Greg Longbottom and JeremySullivan, Canadian-based independent electronic dance music record labelOkay has been home to successful releases by some of the world’s most notable artists including Tiga, Matthew Dear, Heidi,Magda, and Soul Clap. The label has also put out groundbreaking compilations like “FabricLive.14” by Tommie Sunshineand “Modular Moods” by DJ Heather.
Popular Tracks
In recent years, Okay’s most popular tracks have been “Babylon” by Diskord, “IDGAFOS” by Datsik, and “This Ain’t No Place for a Hero” by Excision. These songs have all been incredibly successful in the electronic dance music scene, and have helped to put Okay on the map as a leading Canadian-based independent record label.
Future Plans
The Toronto-based record label is currently run by two people: A&R Manager, Jackie Roman and President, Dave Smith. The team is looking to add more staff in the future as the company is growing. They are also looking to expand their artist roster and sign more international acts.
Upcoming Releases
In the near future, we plan on releasing more compilation albums and EPs, as well as working with more artists to release full-length albums. We hope to continue working with the talented roster of artists that we have currently, as well as branches out and work with new artists to help them get their start in the music industry.
New Artists
In the future, we are looking to sign new artists and release more music. We want to expand our roster and give more opportunities to new artists. We are also looking to expand our reach internationally, and we hope to build stronger relationships with international partners.
