The Legacy

The band’s follow-up album, 1969’s “Psychedelic Jones”, was even more successful, reaching #3 on the chart and spawning the hit single “White Rabbit.” The album charted higher in other countries as well, including Australia, where it reached #1.
By this time, Castle in the Sky had become one of the biggest bands in the world, and their live shows were legendary. They were often described as “the Grateful Dead of Psychedelic Rock” for their improvisational style and ability to keep audiences captivated for hours on end.
