Windy City Smokeout
The Windy City Smokeout is one of the most popular country music festivals in Chicago. The festival features some of the biggest names in country music, as well as a variety of food and drinks. The festival takes place in July, and tickets are available now.
Location
Windy City Smokeout will return to Chicago’s River West neighborhood July 12-14, 2019. The festival takes place at 560 W. Grand Ave., just blocks from the Chicago River.

The Windy City Smokeout will take place from Friday, July 13th to Sunday, July 15th in 2018.
Music
The Windy City Smokeout is one of the most popular country music festivals in the United States. The three-day event features some of the biggest names in country music, as well as up-and-coming artists. There are also plenty of food and drink options to choose from, making this a great event for both music lovers and foodies alike.
Activities
In addition to the three stages of live music, there will be plenty of other activities to keep you entertained throughout the day. A custom car show will display some of the best country rides around, while a mechanical bull riding competition will let you show off your own cowboy (or cowgirl) skills. For those 21 and over, the Redneck Riviera generously stocked with your favorite spirits will be serving drinks all day long. You can also enjoy a game of horseshoes or washers, or simply relax in a rocking chair on the front porch.
Country LakeShake
Now in its fourth year, LakeShake is one of the most popular country music festivals in the Midwest. The three-day event takes place on the shores of Lake Michigan in Chicago, and features some of the biggest names in country music. This year’s lineup includes headliners Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, and Miranda Lambert, as well as Jake Owen, Billy Currington, and more. With a mix of both established and up-and-coming artists, there’s something for everyone at LakeShake.
Wrigleyville Rooftop Country Club
Wrigleyville Rooftop Country Club is one of the most popular country music festivals in Chicago. Held annually, the festival features some of the most popular country music artists from around the world. This year, the festival will take place from August 1st to August 4th. Tickets for the event start at $35 per person.
