He was raised in a very religious household and was a devout Christian. Carson began playing guitar when he was eight years old and by the time he was twelve, he was already writing his own songs.
His music career
Jeff Carson’s music career began in the early 1990s. He was signed to a record deal with Curb Records in 1994 and released his self-titled debut album that same year. The album’s lead single, “Butterfly Kisses,” was a Top 10 hit on the Billboard Country chart and helped to establish Carson as a country music artist. He went on to release three more studio albums throughout his career, the most recent being 2008’s Real Life.
His personal life
While building his musical career, Carson also farmed with his father and drove a truck to earn additional income. In 1988, he married his wife,TC, with whom he had three daughters. The couple later divorced. In recent years, Carson battled addiction and entered rehab in 2019. He is survived by his daughters Savannah, Paige and Shea.
