Sonny John Moore, better known by his stage name Skrillex, is an American record producer, DJ, singer, songwriter and musician. Skrillex is currently one of the most popular artists in the EDM scene.

Skrillex is the stage name of American electronic dance music producer, DJ, and singer Sonny John Moore. Skrillex began his career as the lead singer of the hardcore punk band From First to Last in 2004. In 2007, he joined the electro-house group Jack Ü, and in 2010 he began a solo career that would see him release four studio albums and win eight Grammy Awards. Over the course of his career, Skrillex has collaborated with a who’s who of the EDM world, including Diplo, deadmau5, Wolfgang Gartner, Nero, Korn, and many more. Joel Thomas Zimmerman (born January 5, 1981), known professionally as Deadmau5 (stylized as deadmau5; pronounced “dead mouse”), is a Canadian electronic music producer, DJ, and musician from Toronto, Ontario. Zimmerman produces a variety of styles within the progressive house genre and sometimes other forms of electronic music. His debut album, Get Scraped, was released in 2005.

His works have been included in numerous compilation albums, such as the 2007 In Search of Sunrise 6: Ibiza CD. The February 2008 issue of Mixmag’s career-interviewed Zimmerman, who was acclaimed by Pete Tong. In late 2012, Zimmerman released The Veldt – EP to critical acclaim and a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording at the 2013 Grammy Awards for the title track. Tiesto, born Tijs Michiel Verwest, is a Dutch DJ and producer of electronic dance music. He was born in Breda, Netherlands on January 17, 1969 and has been DJing since 1985. In 1994 he released his first album, Magik One: Far From Earth, which was followed by Magik Two: Story of the Fall in 1995. In 1999 he released Magik Three: Live in Copenhagen, which was recorded live at the Royal Box in Copenhagen. In 2001 he released his fourth album, Magik Four: Mixmaniac Mansion, which was a mix album of tracks from other artists.
Tiesto’s fifth and most successful album to date is his sixth studio album In Search of Sunrise 6: Ibiza. The album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album in 2008. In the early 2000s, Tiësto established himself as one of the world’s most popular trance DJs with his landmark live set at the first ID&T Innercity event in Amsterdam and his Tiësto in Concert global tour which made him the first DJ to hold solo concerts in stadiums. His 2002 remix of Delerium’s “Silence” featuring Sarah McLachlan exposed him to a mainstream audience.
