Introduction
The Christmas season is upon us, and what better way to get into the holiday spirit than by listening to some amazing heavy metal Christmas music? While there are plenty of great vocal albums out there, sometimes you just want to rock out to some shredding guitars and drumming! Trans-Siberian Orchestra – The Lost Christmas Eve is the fourth studio album by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. It was released on October 12, 2004, and is a rock opera about a Polish-American Christmas Eve in New York City.
The story follows the path of an angel who returns to Earth on Christmas Eve to save the life of a child, and in doing so, learns the true meaning of love and sacrifice. The album features guests appearances by Slash, Steve Vai, and Ozzy Osbourne.

The album sold around 8,100 copies in its first week of release in the United States and debuted at number 45 on the Billboard 200 chart.

It is a concept album based on the popular Saturday morning cartoon characters of the 1980s.
