Daddy Owen
Daddy Owen is a Kenyan gospel singer and songwriter. He rose to fame in the early 2000s with his debut album V Reggae School. The album was a hit, both commercially and critically, and helped to cement Daddy Owen’s place as one of the leading lights of the Kenyan gospel music scene.
Daddy Owen’s follow-up albums, D Prodigal and I Will Be There, were both huge successes, cementing his reputation as one of Kenya’s top gospel artists. In recent years, Daddy Owen has also ventured into acting, appearing in the popular Kenyan TV series Makutano Junction.
Willy Paul
Willy Paul is a popular Kenyan Contemporary Gospel artist who sings in English and Swahili. He was born Wilson Abubakar Radido on the 6th of October 1989, in Kisumu County, Kenya. Willy Paul started his music career while he was in high school and he has been able to produce hits such as “Sijafika”, “Tik Tok”, “You is the one”, among others. Willy Paul has won several awards including the Youth Icon of the Year Award at the Kisumu Music Awards.
Gloria Muliro
Gloria Muliro is a Kenyan Gospel singer, songwriter and radio presenter. She gained popularity after the release of her single “Sitolia”, which peaked at number one on the local music charts. She has released several other successful singles, including “Mwingi Wa Nguvu”, “Uko Wapi” and “Hakuna Wako”. Muliro has won multiple awards, including Best Female Artist at the Kisima Music Awards and Best Gospel Artist at the Kenya Music Awards.

Sinach
Sinach is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and musician. She is one of the most popular and well-known gospel artists in Kenya. Her music is characterized by its strong, powerful sound and inspirational lyrics. Sinach has released several albums, including Shout It Loud (2017), The Name of Jesus: Sinach Live in Concert (2016), and I Know Who I Am (2015).
Don Moen
Don Moen is an American singer, songwriter, pastor, and label head. He has produced over 30 albums, written over songs, and is considered one of the most prolific praise and worship leaders of his time. He has led worship in over nations and has sold over five million albums. His signature style combines elements of pop, rock, folk, and urban with a strong focus on lyrics that are based on scripture.
Paul Baloche
Paul Baloche is a worship leader, singer, songwriter, and recording artist who has influenced the modern worship music movement. Born in Quebec, Canada, to French-speaking parents, Baloche learned English as a second language. He started playing guitar and writing songs as a teenager and soon began leading worship in his local church. In the early 1990s, he moved to the United States to attend Jerry Falwell’s Liberty University. It was there that he met his wife, Jeanne, with whom he would later collaborate on many songs.
After graduation, Baloche began leading worship at churches around the country. He also started recording albums of his original songs, which were popular among other worship leaders looking for fresh material for their congregations. In 2001, he released his first album for a mainstream audience, entitled Offering of Worship. The album received critical acclaim and launched Baloche’s career as a respected recording artist. Darlene Zschech
Darlene Zschech is an Australian worship leader and singer-songwriter who has served as a worship pastor at Hillsong Church since 1983. She is a member of the Hillsong Worship team, and has written and co-written songs such as “Shout to the Lord”, “High and Lifted Up”, “Mighty to Save”, and “Scandal of Grace”. In 2009, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, from which she fully recovered.
Reuben Kigame
Reuben Kigame is one of Kenya’s most popular English Gospel music artists. He has been writing, composing, and performing music for over 20 years. His songs are known for their catchy melodies and positive messages. Reuben has released several albums and singles, and his music has been featured on radio and television programs across Kenya. Hillsong
Hillsong is an Australian gospel music artist who has had success both in her native Australia and internationally. She has released several albums, including 2013’s “Glorious Ruins”, which reached number one on the ARIA album chart and number two on the US Billboard Top Contemporary Christian Albums chart. Hillsong has toured extensively, performing at some of the world’s biggest music festivals, including Coachella and Lollapalooza.
Jesus Culture
Jesus Culture is a contemporary Christian music band formed in 2005, Kari Jobe, Kim Walker-Smith, Christopher D’Adamo, Andrew Ehrenzeller and Brandon Gillies. The band is based in Sacramento, California where they started making music together with the goal of writing songs that would evoke a strong sense of joy and passion in people who hear them.
In their early years, they were often compared to Hillsong UNITED, Delirious? and other popular worship bands of the time. However, what set Jesus Culture apart was their unique sound that combined elements of rock, pop and hip hop with traditional hymns and modern worship songs. As the band’s popularity grew, they began to tour internationally and release live albums/ DVDs of their concerts. They have also released several studio albums, the most recent being Let It Echo (2016).
Over the years, Jesus Culture has become known for their anthemic worship songs such as “Alleluia,” “Rooftops,” “Fill Me Up” and “Furious.” Their music has been featured on numerous television shows and movies including Grey’s Anatomy, So You Think You Can Dance and The Vampire Diaries. In addition to their musical endeavors, Jesus Culture also runs a non-profit organization called Leader@Heart which provides resources and training for Christian leaders around the world.
Bethel Music
Bethel Music is a worship band that was formed out of Bethel Church in Redding, California. The band’s music is a mix of pop, rock, and electronic music. They have released twelve live albums and seven studio albums. The band has had four No. 1 songs on the Billboard Christian Songs chart, and their song “What a Beautiful Name” won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song in 2018.
The band is made up of musicians who all serve as worship leaders at Bethel Church. These include Jeoffrey Benward, Jonathan David Helser, Steffany Gretzinger, Amanda Cook, Kalley Heiligenthal, Brian Johnson, Matt Stinton, Jennifer Hague, Paul McClure, Melissa Helser, Cory Asbury, Hannah McClure, Ethan Hulse, and Tiffani Landis.
