I’ve always loved country music, so when it came time to pursue a career in music, there was really no other choice for me but to go after my dream of becoming a country singer.

What has been your biggest challenge as a young woman in country music?

I think the biggest challenge for me has been getting taken seriously as an artist. Because I’m young, there are some people who don’t necessarily believe that I have what it takes to be successful in this business. But I’m working hard to prove them wrong!
