The Latin American Music Awards (LAMA) has announced the nominees for its top awards, which will be handed out at the annual ceremony in November. Leading the pack is singer-songwriter Maluma, who earned eight nods, followed by Ozuna with seven.

The Latin American Music Awards announced their nominees for the top awards today and there are some familiar faces in the mix.
Some of the big names up for awards include Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Romeo Santos, Luis Fonsi, and Daddy Yankee.
The awards ceremony will take place on October 24th in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live on Telemundo.

The nominees for the 2020 Latin American Music Awards were announced on Wednesday (Sept. 9), with Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Ozuna and Anuel AA leading the pack with eight nods apiece.
In the artist of the year category, the foursome will go up against fellow reggaetonero Sean Paul, as well as Mexican rockers Mana and pop singer Camilo.
Bad Bunny is also nominated for album of the year for El Último Tour Del Mundo, while Ozuna is up for song of the year with “Caramelo.” J Balvin and Dua Lipa’s “Un Dia (One Day)” is up for best collaboration, and Anuel AA’s “China” featuring Karol G, Ozuna and J Balvin is nominated for best video.
