The Brian Jonestown Massacre

The Brian Jonestown Massacre is a psychedelic rock band formed in San Francisco in 1990 and led by singer, songwriter, guitarist and tambourine player Anton Newcombe. The group was the subject of the 2004 documentary film Dig!, directed by Ondi Timoner, which documented their long-running feud with fellow San Francisco band The Warlocks (now known as The Dirty Projectors). The name Brian Jonestown Massacre is a combination of The Rolling Stones’ founding member Brian Jones and the infamous Jonestown Massacre.

The Black Angels

The Black Angels are an American psychedelic rock band from Austin, Texas. Formed in 2004, the band has released five studio albums and one live album. They have been praised for their “driving, hazy atmospheres and dark, garage-infused riffs” by The Guardian and “a throbbing aural assault that recalls the best of early Pink Floyd and The Doors” by AllMusic. The Black Angels have toured extensively throughout North America, Europe, Australia, and Japan.

The Raveonettes

The Raveonettes are a Danish noise pop duo, consisting of Sune Rose Wagner on guitar, keyboards, and vocals, and Sharin Foo on bass, guitars, and vocals. Their music is characterized by heavy feedback, driving beats, and edgy melodies. The Raveonettes’ musical influences include The Velvet Underground, Jesus and Mary Chain, MBV, and The Stooges. The Raveonettes have released eight studio albums: Whip It On (2002), Chain Gang of Love (2003), Pretty in Black (2005), Lust Lust Lust (2007), In and Out of Control (2009), Raven in the Grave (2011), Observator (2012), and Pe’ahi (2014).

The Warlocks

The Warlocks are a modern psychedelic rock band from Gotham. The band was formed in 1998 by singer/guitarist Bobby Hecksher and drummer Jeffery Davis. They have released five studio albums, two live albums, and one EP. The Warlocks’ music has been described as “a droning, swirling mix of guitar feedback and hashish smoke.”

The Dandy Warhols

The Dandy Warhols are an American psychedelic rock band that was formed in 1994 in Portland, Oregon. The band’s sound is a mixture of garage rock, punk rock, and psychedelia. The Dandy Warhols have released nine studio albums and have been a critical and commercial success, with their album “13 Tales from Urban Bohemia” being certified platinum in Australia.

The Dandy Warhols are known for their eccentricity and for their live shows, which often involve extravagant visual displays. The band has also been credited with helping to re-popularize the use of the Theremin in popular music.

The Growlers

The Growlers are a six-piece band from Orange County, California, formed in 2006.Their music has been variously described as “garage rock”, “psychobilly”, and “beach goth”. The band’s sound is founded on their reverb-drenched surf guitar styled 60’s garage-psychedelia and front-man Brooks Nielsen’s nasally country drawl.

The group has released seven studio albums, two live albums, and one compilation album. Their most recent album, Natural Affair, was released on October 4, 2019.

The Allah-Las

The Allah-Las are a four-piece psychedelic pop and rock band from Los Angeles, California, United States, formed in 2008. The band consists of guitarist and vocalist Pedrum Siadatian, bassist and vocalist Miles Michaud, drummer Matthew Correia, and percussionist/guitarist Spencer Dunham.
