The Making of the Album “Mona”
In 1974, the band Mona began recording their first and only album, “Mona.” The album was recorded in a rented house in the Hollywood Hills and took six months to complete. The band members were all 20 years old at the time and had no prior experience in the music industry.
Despite their lack of experience, the album was a success. It received positive reviews from critics and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. The single “Go Now” reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The Band’s Later Years
