The video features a number of black and white scenes of Kanye West rapping as he runs away from an explosion. The video was nominated for seven MTV Video Music Awards, including “Video of the Year”, and won four of them.

The Nominees

The nominees for Music Video of the Year: 2011 Hip Hop are:

-Kendrick Lamar – “Humble”
-Drake – “God’s Plan”
-Childish Gambino – “This Is America”
-Migos – “Stir Fry”
-Nicki Minaj – “Chun-Li”

The Winner

And the winner is… Tyler, the Creator, for his video “Yonkers.” Tyler’s video was a dark and twisted look at the life of a fictional character named Wolf Haley. The video begins with Wolf Haley committing suicide by hanging himself, and then follows him through a series of grisly events leading up to his death.

The music video was controversial, but it was also one of the most talked-about videos of the year. It was nominated for four MTV Video Music Awards, including Best New Artist and Best Hip Hop Video, and won the award for Best Music Video of the Year.

The Losers

The Losers was a highly successful hip hop group in the early 1990s. They were best known for their debut album, The Losers, which was released in 1992. The album was a critical and commercial success, reaching #1 on the Billboard 200 and selling over two million copies. The group disbanded in 1996 after the release of their second album, but reunited in 2011 to release a new album, The Reunion.
