Music is important to me
Music is something that is very important to me. I enjoy all genres but hip hop is my favourite. I grew up listening to a lot of 90s hip hop and I still enjoy it today. I like the old school sound as well as the new school sound. I have put together a mix of some of my favourite hip hop songs. I hope you enjoy it!

Why I like Hip Hop
There are many reasons I like hip hop music. I think it is a very creative type of music with its own unique style. I also like how it is often based on personal experiences and stories. It is also a very versatile genre of music that can be used for many different purposes.

I enjoy listening to a mix of Hip Hop that includes old school, new school, and a little bit of rap. I like to mix it up depending on my mood. I have been listening to Hip Hop for as long as I can remember. It is one of my favorite genres of music.

J. Cole is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. Born on a military base in Germany and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Cole initially gained recognition as a rapper following the release of his debut mixtape, The Come Up, in 2007. He released his first studio album, Cole World: The Sideline Story, in 2011 and went on to become one of the most acclaimed rappers of his generation. His second album, Born Sinner (2013), received widespread critical acclaim and debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 chart.Cole’s third album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive (2014), was his first to reach number one on the chart. He followed this up with two more number-one albums—4 Your Eyez Only (2016) and KOD (2018).
Kendrick Lamar
Kendrick Lamar is an American rapper and songwriter from Compton, California. He is considered one of the greatest rappers of all time, and has released five studio albums, all of which have been critical and commercial successes. Lamar’s debut album, Section.80, was released in 2011 to positive reviews. His second album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, was released in 2012 and debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 chart. It earned Lamar four Grammy Award nominations at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, winning Best Rap Performance for “i”.
Chance the Rapper
Chance the Rapper is one of the most popular Hip Hop artists today. Hailing from Chicago, Chance first gained popularity with his mixtape “Acid Rap” in 2013. Since then, he has released two more mixtapes, “Coloring Book” in 2016 and “The Big Day” in 2019. He is also a member of the Hip Hop group “The Social Experiment”. In 2017, Chance won three Grammy Awards for his work on “Coloring Book”, including Best Rap Album.
