“Up”
“Up” is a song by American rapper Cardi B, released on February 5, 2021. The song marks her first release since her single “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion in August 2020. It is the lead single from her second studio album, Invasion of Privacy (2018).
Written by Cardi B and produced by Dj Swan$, the track interpolates “Ring the Alarm” by American R&B singer Beyoncé. It also samples “Oh Yeah!” by Swiss electronic band Yello. “Up” is a hip hop and trap song with a length of two minutes and fifty-seven seconds. The lyrics find Cardi B bragging about her husband Offset’s wealth and their recent successes.

On April 29, 2020, Megan Thee Stallion released the remix to “Savage” featuring Beyoncé. The song was originally included on Megan Thee Stallion’s EP Suga. The track peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Megan Thee Stallion’s highest-charting single as a lead artist, and also Beyoncé’s sixty-second top 10 hit on the chart.
