Fetty Wap- “Trap Queen”

“Trap Queen” is the debut single by American rapper Fetty Wap from his self-titled debut album (2015). Following its online premiere in March 2014, it was released independently on April 22, 2014 before being remixed and rereleased on May 13 by 300 Entertainment. The song peaked at number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 in May 2015. The accompanying music video for the remix version of the song was directed by Nabil Elderkin.

Silento- “Watch Me”

Silento’s “Watch Me” is a song that has taken the world by storm. It is the lead single from his debut album, Watch Me EP. The song was released on May 5, 2015, and has since peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100. The song’s music video has also been a huge hit, logging over 700 million views on YouTube as of September 2015.

The Weeknd- “The Hills”

The Weeknd’s new song, “The Hills”, has been getting a lot of attention lately. The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, is a Canadian singer and songwriter who first gained popularity in 2010 with his self-released mixtapes. “The Hills” is the lead single from his upcoming second studio album, Beauty Behind the Madness, which is set to be released on August 28th.

“The Hills” is a slower, more atmospheric song than some of The Weeknd’s previous hits, like “Can’t Feel My Face” and “Earned It”. The new song has a dark, dreamlike quality that sets it apart from his other work. Taylor Swift- “Out of the Woods”

Taylor Swift has released a new song called “Out of the Woods” from her upcoming album 1989. The song is available to download on iTunes now.

“Out of the Woods” is a haunting, synth-driven track that finds Swift reflecting on a past relationship. “Are we out of the woods yet? / Are we out of the woods yet? / Are we in the clear yet? / Good heavens, no,” she sings over a tense beat.

Swift has said that 1989 will be her “first documented, official pop album.” It’s due out on October 27.

Selena Gomez- “Hands To Myself”

“Hands To Myself” is a song recorded by American singer Selena Gomez for her second studio album, Revival (2015). The song was released on December 8, 2015 through Interscope Records as the lead single from the album. “Hands To Myself” is a synth-pop and R&B track with new wave influences. Lyrically, it features Gomez trying to seduce someone she cannot have.

Ellie Goulding- “Love Me Like You Do”

“Love Me Like You Do” is a song recorded by English singer Ellie Goulding for the soundtrack to the film Fifty Shades of Grey (2015). The track was written by Tove Lo, Max Martin, Ali Payami, Savan Kotecha, and Ilya Salmanzadeh, and produced by Martin and Payami. It was released on 7 January 2015 as the second single from the soundtrack. “Love Me Like You Do” is a mid-tempo electronica ballad with instrumentation consisting in massive synths and drums. Lyrically, it talks about the uncontrollable feeling of falling in love.

The song debuted at number three on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Goulding’s fifth top five single and seventh top ten single overall in the United Kingdom. “Love Me Like You Do” became both Goulding’s first number-one hit in Australia and her first song to enter the Australian Hot 100 chart. In other countries, it peaked within the top ten of over twenty international charts including Belgium (Flanders), France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan and New Zealand. The song won Single of the Year at both the 2015 Brit Awards and 2015 Billboard Music Awards. A music video for “Love Me Like You Do” was directed by Mike Customer and filmed at neurotransmitter London’s Leadenhall Market during an overnight shoot. It depicts Goulding searching for somebody in several scenes throughout London until she finally meets him in an elevator; as they kiss passionately against a wall a police control panel depicts their floor lighting up signifying their sexual engagement.”
