Fortunate Youth

Fortunate Youth is a reggae band based in Hermosa Beach, California. The band was founded in 2009 by Dan Kelly, Travis Stewart, and Brock Dusk. The band has since released three albums and one EP. Their latest album, “Strength In Numbers”, was released in 2017.

New Reggae Music

Fortunate Youth is a five-piece reggae band from Hermosa Beach, CA. The group includes Dan Kelly on lead vocals and guitar, Travis Walpole on bass and vocals, Jarad David on guitar and vocals, Corey Drayer on drums, and Michael Griesgraber on keyboards.

The band has been described as a “notable success story” in the reggae music scene. They have toured with big names such as Rebelution, SOJA, The Green, Matisyahu, Zion I Kings, and have played at festivals like Reggae on the River, California Roots Music & Art Festival, ourcoachella Festival, among others.

Fortunate Youth’s debut album “IRIE STATE OF MIND” was released in 2012 to positive reviews. Their sophomore album “Don’t Worry Be Irie” was released in 2014 and charted at #1 on the iTunes Reggae Charts and #4 on the Billboard Reggae Charts. The album’s first single “Down with therical release by VP Records.

Fortunate Youth is a Reggae band that was started in Hermosa Beach, California by a group of friends. The band has gone through many lineup changes, but the current members are Dan Kelly, Dylan tree, Travis enough, Jasiel Robinson, Joey Davis and Michael Ruff.

The band has released 3 albums, “IRIE STATE OF MIND (2013)”, “WHILE WE’RE YOUNG (2016)” and “GRATITUDE (2019)”.

Their latest music video is for the song “Burn One” off of their album “GRATITUDE”. The video was released on November 1st, 2019.
