We all know that metal is a genre with a lot of variety. There are the classic bands that everyone knows and loves, but there are also plenty of bands that are good but have trash music. In this blog post, we’ll be counting down the top heavy metal bands that are good but have trash music.

Metallica

Metallica is an American heavy metal band that formed in 1981. The band has won nine Grammy Awards and released ten studio albums, three live albums, and four extended plays. Metallica’s early releases included fast tempos, instrumentals, and aggressive musicianship that placed them as one of the founding “big four” bands of thrash metal alongside Megadeth, Anthrax, and Slayer.

They’re a good band but their music is trash

While Metallica may be one of the most popular and successful heavy metal bands of all time, not everyone is a fan of their music. In fact, there are many people who think that their music is complete trash.

There are a few reasons why some people feel this way. For one, many of Metallica’s songs are very long and drawn out. This can make them seem repetitive and boring to some listeners. Additionally, the band’s lyrics often deal with dark and depressing topics, which can be off-putting to some people.

Despite these criticisms, there are still many fans who think that Metallica is a great band. They appreciate the band’s skillful musicianship and the passion that they put into their music. Additionally, they feel that the band’s dark lyrics are honest and reflective of the human experience.

Megadeth

Megadeth is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California. The group was formed in 1983 by guitarist Dave Mustaine and bassist David Ellefson, who were later joined by drummer Gar Samuelson and guitarist Kerry King. Megadeth is considered to be one of the pioneers of the thrash metal genre, and their style has been copied by many other bands. However, the band’s music has been criticized for its often violent and misogynistic lyrical content.

Megadeth is considered one of the pioneers of thrash metal and one of the “big four” bands that defined the genre (along with Metallica, Slayer, and Anthrax). They have released fifteen studio albums, four live albums, five compilation albums, three EPs, thirty-six singles, sixteen video albums, and forty-three music videos. The band has been nominated for twelve Grammy Awards and won four of them. Megadeth was founded in 1983 by guitarist/vocalist Dave Mustaine, bassist Dave Ellefson and drummer Gar Samuelson following Mustaine’s expulsion from Metallica. Megadeth is known for its distinctive instrumentation and intricate composition. The band’s goal has been to “speed up” heavy metal, rather than rely on classic blues rock structures. Megadeth is also known for Mustaine’s use of explicit lyrics that often take on a political or social agenda.

Slayer

Slayer is an American thrash metal band from Huntington Park, California. The band was founded in 1981 by guitarists Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman, and drummer Dave Lombardo. Slayer rose to fame with their 1986 release Reign in Blood, and is credited as one of the “big four” thrash metal bands, along with Metallica, Megadeth, and Anthrax. Slayer’s musical style involves fast tremolo picking, double bass drumming, and shouted vocals. Hanneman and King are the primary songwriters in the band, while Lombardo and drummer Paul Bostaph have also contributed.
