Lizzo
Lizzo is an American singer, rappersongwriter and flutist. In June 2016, Lizzo released her third studio album, Coconut Oil. The album includes the single “Truth Hurts”, which peaked at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming her first top 10 single as a lead artist. Lizzo’s musical style draws from a range of genres including funk, rap and R&B.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, and raised in Houston, Texas, Lizzo began rapping in 2010. She signed to indie hip hop label Delicious Vinyl in 2011 and released two albums with the label: Lizzobangers (2013) and Big Grrrl Small World (2015). After leaving Delicious Vinyl, Lizzo released Coconut Oil on Atlantic Records. The album peaked at number 34 on the Billboard 200 chart and received positive reviews from critics.
Lizzo’s music has been praised for its positive body image messages and its themes of self-love and self-acceptance. In 2019, she won three Grammy Awards: Best Urban Contemporary Album for CUZ I LOVE YOU; Best Pop Solo Performance for “Truth Hurts”; and Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Jerome”.

His debut studio album, American Teen, was released on March 3, 2017. The album received positive reviews from critics and debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States. Khalid’s second studio album, Free Spirit, was released on April 5, 2019.
