DZIDZIO is a Ukrainian electronic music producer, DJ, and singer. His style is a mix of house, techno, and trance. He is best known for his song “Kyiv Nights”, which was a number one hit in Ukraine. DZIDZIO has released two albums, “DZIDZIO” and “DZIDZIO 2”, both of which were very successful in Ukraine.
Biography
Dzidzio (real name Andriy Dzyadyk, born January 1, 1981 in Kiev, Ukrainian SSR) is a Ukrainian singer, songwriter and actor. His stage name is a play on the Ukrainian word for “grandfather”.
Dzidzio rose to fame in 2006 after winning the second season of the Ukrainian reality television show Nash Singer. He has since released six studio albums and has starred in several films and television series. His music has been featured in numerous films and television series, including the soundtrack to the 2015 film Theatrical Piece.
Dzidzio’s musical style is a mix of electronic and traditional Ukrainian folk music. He often incorporates elements of rock and hip hop into his songs. He has been described as the “king of Ukrainian electronic music” by The Huffington Post.

Okean Elzy (Ukrainian: Океан Ельзи, IPA: [okʲeˈan ˈɛlʲzɪ]) is a Ukrainian rock band. The band was formed in Lviv in 1994 by musicians from different bands of the city. The current lineup consists of lead vocalist and harmonica player Slava Vakarchuk, guitarist Andriy Shevchenko, bassist Eugene Zhdanov, drummer Svyatoslav Vakarchuk (Slava’s brother), and keyboardist Yaroslav Halahan.
In its early years the band’s music was primarily influenced by Western rock music of the 1960s and 1970s. However, over time the band has increasingly incorporated traditional Ukrainian folk music into its sound. Okean Elzy is one of the most popular and successful bands in Ukraine. They have released seven studio albums, two live albums, and numerous singles. The band has won several national and international awards, including Best Ukrainian Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards three times.

Svyatoslav Vakarchuk
Biography
Svyatoslav Vakarchuk is a Ukrainian musician, songwriter, producer, public figure, and philanthropist. He is the lead singer and main songwriter for the rock band Okean Elzy. In addition to his work with the band, Vakarchuk has released four solo albums. He has also composed music for films and theater productions.
Vakarchuk was born in Lviv, Ukraine. His father, Ivan Vakarchuk, was a professor of physics at Lviv Polytechnic National University. His mother, Tamara Vakarchuk (nee Hryhoriychuk), was a teacher at a secondary school. He has two younger brothers: Mykhailo (born 1987), who is also a musician, and Yaroslav (born 1990), who is a doctor.
Vakarchuk attended Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, where he studied physics and mathematics. He later enrolled at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv to study theoretical physics but did not complete his degree.
In 1994, Vakarchuk co-founded the rock band Okean Elzy. The band became one of the most popular groups in Ukraine and has released seven studio albums. They have won numerous awards, including the Order of Merit of Ukraine (2010) and the Angelus Award (2011).
In addition to his work with Okean Elzy, Vakarchuk has released four solo albums: Sviatoslav Vakarchuk (2001), Slovo I (2004), Do skriplia do mozgu do kostei (2007), and Tselyi den’ u bezkrainomu mori (2011). He has also composed music for several films, including Bitter Harvest (2017) and Haytarma (2013).
In 2009, Vakarchuk was named a goodwill ambassador for UNESCO. In 2012, he was appointed to the advisory board of Ukraine’s National Bank. In 2014, he became a member of the supervisory council of Transparency International – Ukraine.
