In early 2016, Woofless announced his retirement from YouTube after he was “bored” of making videos,Although he never officially said he was quitting YouTube, his channel went inactive for over 6 months. In August of that year, he uploaded a video to his second channel announcing his return to YouTube.

Woofless, real name Jeffrey Thompson, is a professional Fortnite player and content creator who first started out making YouTube videos back in 2012. His claim to fame came from his partnership with the now defunct video game site Machinima, where he used to produce Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 gameplay videos. He later transitioned into making Minecraft and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 zombies videos. It wasn’t until 2016 that Woofless started to get into dubstep music production.
