Reba McEntire
The Academy of Country Music Awards are back for another year, and this time they will be hosted by Reba McEntire. This will be the 16th time that the legendary country musician has hosted the show, making her the most prolific host in the history of the awards.
McEntire is a favorite amongst country fans and her hosting gig is always a highlight of the show. She is known for her humor and her ability to bring out the best in her co-hosts and guests. This year’s show is sure to be a must-watch for country music fans.
Carrie Underwood
Carrie Underwood is set to return as the host of the Academy of Country Music Awards for the 11th time. The show will air live from Nashville on April 18 on CBS.
“I’m so excited to be hosting the ACM Awards for an 11th time,” Underwood said in a statement. “It truly is a special night celebrating country music and those who make it possible. I can’t wait to be back in Nashville and on stage with all of my friends. See you in April!”
Underwood made her debut as ACM Awards host in 2009, and has returned every year since. She is also a five-time winner of the award for Entertainer of the Year, making her the only female artist to win the prestigious honor more than twice.
Luke Bryan
Luke Bryan is set to host the 55th Academy of Country Music Awards, which will air live on CBS on Sunday, April 5. This marks the first time that Bryan has hosted the show.
The “Most Wonderful Time of the Year” singer revealed the news on social media Wednesday morning, sharing a promo video for the awards show.
“Get ready y’all @acmawards are about to get a little more country,” Bryan captioned the video. “I’m hosting this year’s show! It’s going to be a party you won’t want to miss.”
The ACM Awards will be held at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House and will feature performances from some of country’s biggest stars, including Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Thomas Rhett and Miranda Lambert.
Blake Shelton
According to the Academy of Country Music, Shelton will be the official host of this year’s show. This will be Shelton’s sixth time hosting the show, which is considered one of the biggest events in country music. Blake Shelton is a country music singer and songwriter who has released several albums and singles, many of which have been very successful. He is also a coach on the television show The Voice.
Keith Urban
The Academy of Country Music Awards are set to air on Sunday, April 7, and this year’s host is Keith Urban.
This marks the first time that Urban has hosted the ACM Awards, although he is no stranger to the award show. He has won the prestigious Entertainer of the Year award four times and has a total of 19 ACM Awards.
Urban is also a three-time Grammy Award winner and a member of the Grand Ole Opry. He released his tenth studio album, Graffiti U, in 2018.
The ACM Awards will air live on CBS at 8:00 pm ET/7:00 pm CT.
