The Billboard Latin Music Awards Are Back for 2021
The Billboard Latin Music Awards are returning for their 27th annual show on Thursday, April 29. The star-studded event will broadcast live on Telemundo at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT from the Watsco Center at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
This year’s show will feature performances by some of the biggest names in Latin music, including J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Ozuna, Anuel AA, Karol G, Shakira, Ricky Martin and more. In addition, the awards show will honor the late Latin music icon Celia Cruz with a special performance by Marc Anthony and her daughter Soledad Cruz.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards are determined by data obtained from Billboard’s daily updated charts, including the Billboard Hot 100 Latin Songs chart and the Billboard Top Closing Songs chart. The awards also take into account radio airplay from over 80 radio stations across the United States and Puerto Rico.

The Awards Show Format
