Telemundo announced today that it will serve as the official Spanish-language home of the Latin Grammy Awards. The Awards show will air live on November 19th from 8-11pm ET/PT from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. This marks the first time in history that the Latin Grammy Awards will be broadcast on a Spanish-language network.

The announcement was made by Craig Hunegs, President of Telemundo Studios and Universo, and Gabriel Soto, CEO of TusKabias. “This is a landmark moment for Telemundo and for the Latin music community,” said Hunegs. “The Latin Grammy Awards are the biggest and most prestigious awards show celebrating Latino music, and we are thrilled to be able to bring them to our viewers for the first time.”

“We are honored to partner with Telemundo to bring the Latin Grammy Awards to Spanish-language television for the first time,” said Soto. “Telemundo is the perfect home for this celebration of Latino culture and music, and we are excited to work with them to make this year’s show bigger and better than ever.”

The Latin Grammy Awards are produced by TusKabias and broadcast inSpanish in over 180 countries around the world. This year’s show will feature performances by some of the biggest names in Latino music, including Shakira, Ricky Martin, J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Anuel AA, Karol G, Rosalía, Alejandro Fernández, Sebastián Yatra, Carlos Vives, Gloria Trevi, Andrés Cepeda, Mon Laferte, Alejandro Sanz, Rosario Dawson (presenter), Paz Vega (presenter), Mario Lopez (host), Ana Brenda Contreras (host), Stephanie Himonidis (“Chiquibaby”) (correspondent), pro soccer player Alejandro Gomez (“Papu”) (correspondent) and music superstar Reykon (“El Líder”).

Telemundo announced today that it will be the exclusive Spanish-language home of the “Latin American Music Awards.” The show will air live on Thursday, October 8 at 8pm/7c from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, CA.

This will be the first ever live award show to recognize the most popular artists in Latin music, as voted by the fans. The awards show will feature performances by some of the biggest stars in Latin music, including Pitbull, Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Mana, and many more.
