Shelton’s first Grammy win came in 2013 for Best Country Solo Performance, for the song “Over You”. He won the same award in 2016, for “Bringing Back the Sunshine”. Shelton also won two Grammys in 2017: Best Country Album for If I’m Honest, and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Better Man”, a duet with his then-girlfriend Miranda Lambert.

Shelton’s most recent Grammy win came in 2020, for Best Country Song, for “God’s Country”.

Justin Bieber was named favorite male artist – pop/rock and Adele won favorite album – pop/rock for “25.”

Blake Tollison Shelton was born in Ada, Oklahoma, to Dorothy, a beauty salon owner, and Richard Shelton, a used car salesman. She has a sister named Endy. When he was 16 years old, he was inspired to pursue a career in music after attending a Garth Brooks concert.
