2. Things got emotional when Wisin & Yandel accepted the award for Artist of the Year. Yandel dedicated the award to his late mother, who he said was his biggest fan and inspiration.
3. Ricky Martin had everyone on their feet with his electrifying performance of “Vente Pa’ Ca.” Joined by Maluma, Martin brought his signature stage presence and sex appeal to the AMAs stage.
4. The night ended on a high note with a lively performance by Pitbull & Shakira of their new collaboration “Hey Ma.” The duo got the crowd moving with their catchy bilingual track.
5. One of our favorite moments was watching Gomez’s excitement as she accepted her award for New Artist of the Year from presenters Jencarlos Canela and Ana Brenda Contreras. Gomez dedicated her award to her fans, saying they were the ones who helped her achieve success.
