The Billboard Latin Music Awards is an annual awards show that celebrates the best Latin music in the world. This year, the show will be held on April 25th in Miami, Florida. Camila Cabello is set to perform at the show, which will be her first performance since the release of her album, Romance.

Singer Camila Cabello will perform at the Billboard Latin Music Awards 2021, which will air live on Telemundo on Thursday, April 29 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT.

Cabello joins a star-studded lineup of previously announced performers, including Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Ozuna, Rosalía, and Sech. The “Havana” singer is also nominated for four awards: Female Artist of the Year, Video of the Year, and Collaboration of the Year for “Mi Persona Favorita” with Alejandro Sanz; and Social Artist of the Year.

This will be Cabello’s second time performing at the Billboard Latin Music Awards. In 2018, she took the stage with Ozuna to perform their smash hit “Inside Out.”

The 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards will air live on Telemundo on Thursday, April 29 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT from the Watsco Center in Miami and will be simulcast on Univision Radio stations across the country.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards 2021 is set to air on Telemundo on Thursday, April 22 at 8 p.m. EST/7 p.m. CST. The show will be hosted by Leslie Grace and Pedro Capó.

This year’s event will feature special performances by Camila Cabello, Karol G, Ozuna, Bad Bunny, Jhay Cortez, Manuel Turizo, Rauw Alejandro and Sech.

Cabello is a Cuban-American singer

Camila Cabello is a Cuban-American singer and songwriter. She first gained prominence as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, before launching her solo career in 2016 with the single “Crying in the Club”. Cabello’s debut studio album, Camila (2018), peaked at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart.

Born in Cojimar, Cuba to Sinuhe Estrabao and Alejandro Cabello, Cabello and her family immigrated to Miami, Florida in 2003. Raised in a Catholic household, Cabello began singing at age five. She attended Miami Lakes Middle School before being home schooled due to an anxiety disorder. In 2012, she auditioned for The X Factor and joined the show’s second season as part of the girl group Fifth Harmony. The group signed a joint record deal with Syco Music and Epic Records and released their debut album Reflection (2015) which peaked at number five on the US Billboard 200 chart. The album included the single “Worth It”, featuring Kid Ink, which peaked at number 12 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The album was followed by 7/27 (2016), which produced three top 10 singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart: “Work from Home”, “Scared of Happy””, and “All in My Head (Flex)”. These singles peaked respectively at numbers four, 34, and 38.

Cabello left Fifth Harmony in December 2016 citing creative differences as her primary reason for leaving the group. After departing from the group, she released several collaborative singles including “I Know What You Did Last Summer” with Shawn Mendes and “Bad Things” with Machine Gun Kelly; both of which peaked within the top 40 of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. In May 2017, Cabello released her debut solo single entitled “Crying in the Club”. The song debuted at number 47 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and later peaked at number 43; it marked as her highest-charting single as a solo artist until 2018 when “Havana” reached number two on that chart.

Camila Cabello rose to fame as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony. The group was originally formed on the second season of The X Factor in 2012, and ultimately finished in third place. Following their exit from The X Factor, Fifth Harmony signed with Syco Music and Epic Records, and released their debut single “Miss Movin’ On” in 2013. The single peaked at number 76 on the Billboard Hot 100, and was later certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

In 2015, the group released their debut studio album Reflection, which debuted at number five on the Billboard 200 and spawned the singles “Boss”, “Sledgehammer”, and “Worth It”. “Worth It” peaked at number 12 on the Hot 100 and was certified double platinum by the RIAA. As of March 2020, the album has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for combined sales and album-equivalent units of over a million units in the United States
