Originating in Chicago in the early 1980s, house music is a style of electronic dance music that has grown to become one of the most popular genres in the world. In the past few decades, house music has evolved and diversified, giving rise to sub-genres such as deep house, future house, and tech house.

“Tremor” is a song by Belgian DJ and record producer Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Dutch DJ and record producer Martin Garrix. The track was released on Beatport on 17 February 2014 as a digital download. Musically, “Tremor” is a progressive house and electro house song with elements of trap. The song’s composition samples Aaron Smith’s 2013 single “Dancin'”.
The song was first played live by Garrix at Ultra Music Festival in Miami in March 2014. It was subsequently played by the duo at Tomorrowland in Belgium in July 2014, where it received a warm reception from the crowd. The track was nominated for the Best Dance Recording category at the 57th Grammy Awards.
