The Tallest Man on Earth
The Tallest Man on Earth is the stage name of Swedish singer-songwriter Kristian Matsson. He has released four studio albums, one EP and a live album. His music is characterized by his deeply personal lyrics, sparse arrangements and delivery.
Matsson was born in Dalarna, Sweden. He began writing and performing songs in his teenage years. In 2006, he self-released his debut album Shallow Graves. He followed this with The Wild Hunt (2010), There’s No Leaving Now (2012) and Dark Bird Is Home (2015). His live album Live from Belly Up was released in 2016.
The Paper Kites
The Paper Kites are an Australian indie folk-rock band that formed in Melbourne in 2010. The band consists of Sam Bentley (lead vocals, guitar, keys), Christina Lacy (bass, vocals), David Powers (drums, percussion), Sam Nicholson (guitar, banjo, keys) and Natalie Conroy-Goldman (cello).
The Paper Kites released their debut album States in 2012 to critical acclaim. The album peaked at #3 on the ARIA Australian Artists chart and was nominated for Best Art Vinyl at the 2013 ARIA Music Awards. The band have since released two more albums – twelvefour (2015) and On the Train Ride Home (2017) – both of which have reached the Top 10 of the ARIA Albums Chart.
The Paper Kites have toured extensively throughout Australia, North America and Europe, performing at festivals such as Coachella, Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo. In 2016, the band were nominated for five ARIA Music Awards – winning Best Adult Contemporary Album for twelvefour – and received a APRA AMCOS Artisan Award for On the Train Ride Home.
The Head and the Heart
The Head and the Heart is an American indie folk band from Seattle, Washington. The band is composed of Josiah Johnson (vocals, guitar, percussion), Jonathan Russell (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Charity Rose Thielen (violin, vocals), Chris Zasche (bass), Kenny Hensley (piano, organ), and Tyler Williams (drums). The band self-released their debut album, The Head and the Heart, in 2011.
The group’s debut album was recorded in a living room over the course of a month and was entirely self-financed by the members themselves. In early 2011, they signed to Sub Pop and reissued their debut on vinyl. Their second album Let’s Be Still was released in 2013 on Sub Pop. They have toured extensively in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. In 2016, they released their third album Signs of Light which debuted at number five on the Billboard 200 chart.

Of Monsters and Men is an indie pop-rock band which formed in Iceland in 2010. The band members are Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir, Brynjar Leifsson, Ragnar Þórhallsson, Arnar Rögnvaldsson, and Kristján Páll Kristjánsson. The band rose to prominence in 2011 with their debut album My Head Is an Animal, which peaked at No. 6 on the US Billboard 200 and topped the charts in several other countries. Of Monsters and Men have released two studio albums, My Head Is an Animal (2011) and Beneath the Skin (2015), as well as three live albums. Their most recent album, Fever Dream, was released on July 26th 2019.
