1. Shakira
Shakira is a Colombian singer, songwriter, dancer, record producer, and actress. Born and raised in Barranquilla, she began performing in school, demonstrating Latin American and Arabic influences with her native Spanish. Her first two albums established her throughout Latin America and Spain. Shakira entered the English-language market with her fifth album, Laundry Service. It sold over thirteen million copies worldwide and generated the international hits “Whenever, Wherever”, “Underneath Your Clothes”, from 2002 to 2010, Shakira was the highest-selling Latin artist of the decade.
2. Ricky Martin
Ricky Martin is a Puerto Rican singer, actor and author. He is widely regarded as the King of Latin Pop[3] and is often credited with bringing Latin pop to the mainstream.[4][5] Martin began his career at age twelve with the all-boy pop group Menudo. After five years with the group, he released several Spanish-language solo albums throughout the 1990s. He also acted on stage and on TV in Mexico during the early 1990s. In 1994 he starred on the American TV soap opera General Hospital playing Miguel Morez until 1995.[9]
