What a great year 2014 was for house music! There were so many great tracks released this year, it was hard to narrow it down to just 10. But we did it, and here they are: our top 10 house tracks of 2014.
10. “Finally” by Kings of Tomorrow
This track was an instant classic when it was released in January of this year. It has that perfect mix of deep house and soul that makes you want to dance all night long.
9. “No More Tears” by Sonny Fodera feat. Janai
Released in February, this track was one of the first big hits of the year. It’s a perfect example of Sonny Fodera’s signature sound: deep, groovy, and just a little bit sexy.
8. “Saxo Beat” by Vladimir Cauchemar & Loulou Players
This track was released in March, but it didn’t really start blowing up until the summertime. It’s the perfect summer party song, with a catchy saxophone riff and a feel-good vibe that will make you want to dance all night long.
7. “sth like this” by kölsch feat Troels Abrahamsen
This track was released in April, but it didn’t really start getting attention until the fall. It’s a beautiful track with a touching vocal performance from Troels Abrahamsen and some gorgeous melodies from kölsch. If you’re looking for a deep, emotional house track, this is the one for you.
6. “I Got U” by Duke Dumont feat Jax Jones
This is another track that was released in the early part of the year but didn’t really start blowing up until the summertime. It’s the perfect summer anthem: catchy, easy to sing along to, and with a killer bassline that will get your feet moving.
5. “Geht’s Noch?” by Oliver Koletzki feat Fran
This track was released in May, and it quickly became one of our favorite tracks of the year. It’s got everything we love about Oliver Koletzki: catchy melodies, beautiful vocals from Fran, and a thumping bassline that will make your head nod uncontrollably. If you’re looking for a feel-good tune to help you relax after a long day at work, look no further than “Geht’s Noch?”
4.”Latch” by Disclosure feat Sam Smith This track was originally released in October of 2013, but it blew up in 2014 thanks to its inclusion on Disclosure’s debut album Settle. It’s a gorgeous track with soulful vocals from Sam Smith and some stunning production work from Disclosure brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence

Conclusion
After listening to and watching dozens of hours of house music, we’ve come to the conclusion that 2014 was an excellent year for the genre.
