The ceremony will take place on April 30, 2015 in Miami, Florida at the Bank United Center. This will mark the first time the Awards will be televised live on both NBC Universo and Telemundo.

The nominees for the 2015 award show were announced on February 10, 2015. Romeo Santos leads the list of nominees with sixteen nominations, including Artist of the Year and Male Artist of the Year. Marc Anthony follows with thirteen nominations, which include Album of the Year and Male Artist of the Year.

This award goes to the artist with the highest sales for a Latin album in the United States during the eligibility period. The eligibility period for the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards was from February 23, 2014 to February 28, 2015.

Ricky Martin took to the stage to perform his new single “Disparo al Corazón.” The pop star got the party started with his high energy performance, which included backdrop dancers, pyrotechnics and of course, Martin’s trademark good looks and moves.

Nicky Jam

Nicky Jam reprised his global reggaeton domination with a medley of hits that included his monster smash “El Perdón” featuring Enrique Iglesias. The set also included “Hasta El Amanecer” and a brand new song, “With You Tonight (Hasta El Amanecer).”
