It’s that time of year again! The 2016 Latin Billboard Music Awards are upon us, and we have the complete list of winners for you right here.

This year’s awards show was hosted by Cuban-American rapper Pitbull, and it featured performances by some of the biggest names in Latin music, including Gloria Trevi, Shakira, Nicky Jam, and far too many others to list here.

As for the winners, there were plenty of big names taking home awards this year. Marc Anthony won both “Artist of the Year” and “Latin Artist of the Year,” while Romeo Santos took home “Tropical Artist of the Year.”

Other winners included J Balvin, Luis Fonsi, Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizárraga, Gerardo Ortiz, Farruko, and many more. You can check out the complete list of winners below.

The 2016 Latin Billboard Music Awards were held on April 28, 2016 at the Venetian Las Vegas. The show was hosted by Gente de Zona and broadcast live on Telemundo. The list of winners is as follows:

Top Latin Artist of the Year

The 2016 Latin Billboard Music Awards were handed out on Thursday night (April 28), with Romeo Santos and Carlos Vives taking home the top prizes.

Santos was named Top Latin Artist of the Year, while Vives took home the trophy for Top Latin Album of the Year for his album “La Tierra Del Olvido.”

Other winners included Diego Torres, who won Top Latin Male Artist of the Year; J. Balvin, who won Top Latin Song of the Year for “Ginza”; and Nicky Jam, who won Top Latin Songwriter of the Year.

Top Latin Song of the Year

“El Perdón” by Nicky Jam and Enrique Iglesias was named the top Latin song of the year.

Top Latin Airplay Song of the Year

This award goes to the artist with the most successful Latin single on radio in the United States during the eligibility period.

Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Male

Robinson Cano is the big winner of the night, taking home four awards, including Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Male.

Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Female

Shakira is the big winner at the 2016 Latin Billboard Music Awards, taking home four trophies, including top Latin albums artist of the year, female.

The Colombian superstar was honored for her album “El Dorado,” which spent seven weeks atop Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart and spawned the hit singles “La Bicicleta,” “Chantaje” and “Me Enamoré.”

In addition to Shakira’s four wins, Mexican pop singer Jesse & Joy claimed three awards, including top Latin album of the year for “Un Besito Más.” Ozuna was named top Latin songs artist of the year, while J Balvin won top Latin artist of the year.

Closing

With so many incredible artists nominated for this year’s Latin Billboard Music Awards, it was hard to predict who would come out on top.

The awards ceremony, which was held on April 28 in Coral Gables, Florida, was hosted by actor and comedian delicious oral Fixation’s Mario Lopez and television personality Roselyn Sanchez.

This year’s event was especially significant as it marked the 20th anniversary of the awards show.

And the winners are…

Artist of the Year: Mana
Mana took home the coveted Artist of the Year award, which is given to the artist with the greatest impact on Latin music over the past year. The Mexican rock band has had an incredible career, spanning more than three decades, and they show no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Song of the Year: “El Perdon” by Nicky Jam and Enrique Iglesias
This heartwarming ballad about forgiveness won Song of the Year honors at this year’s ceremony. “El Perdon” topped the Latin iTunes chart for 19 weeks straight and remained in Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart for an impressive 54 weeks.

Hot Latin Song of the Year: “La Bicicleta” by Carlos Vives and Shakira
It’s no surprise that this catchy duet between two of Latin music’s biggest superstars won Hot Latin Song of the Year. “La Bicicleta” topped charts around the world and even earned Vives and Shakira a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
