The Billboard Latin Music Awards recognize the most popular albums, songs and performers in Latin music.

J Balvin and Bad Bunny Win Top Artist

J Balvin and Bad Bunny were the big winners at the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards, taking home the award for Top Artist. The two artists also won in the Top Latin Albums and Top Male Artist categories.

Other winners included Ozuna (Top Male Artist), Rosalía (Top New Artist), Reykon (Top Hot Latin Song), and Karol G (Top Latin Album).

Karol G and Ozuna Win Top Latin Album

Karol G and Ozuna’s “Deseos” has won top Latin album at the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards.

The Colombian singer-songwriter and the Puerto Rican reggaeton star beat out Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Ozuna and Sech for the honor.

“Deseos” was released in November 2020 and peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart. It is Karol G’s second studio album and Ozuna’s fifth.

The duo also won the award for top Latin song for “Deseos.”

Ozuna Wins Top Latin Song

Ozuna took home the top prize at the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards, winning Top Latin Song for “Te Soñé De Nuevo.” The track, which is featured on Ozuna’s album ENOC, peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart in February of 2020 and remained in the top spot for 17 weeks.

Becky G and Maluma Win Top Latin Collaboration

Rebecca Marie “Becky” Gomez (born March 2, 1997), better known by her stage name Becky G, is an American singer, songwriter, actress and model. Gomez first gained recognition in 2011 when she began posting videos of herself covering popular songs online. One of her videos caught the attention of producer Dr. Luke, who subsequently offered her a joint record deal with Kemosabe Records and RCA Records.

While working on her debut effort, the single “Becky from the Block” was released in 2013. It peaked at number 19 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and was later certified double-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Her debut extended play, Play It Again (2013), peaked at number Becky G’s debut studio album Shower was released on July 14, 2014; it debuted at number 8 on Billboard 200 earning Gomez her highest-charting effort to date. The album spawned three singles: “Shower”, “Can’t Stop Dancin'” and “Lovin’ So Hard”.

On April 24th 2021, Becky G and Maluma won Top Latin Collaboration for their song “La Respuesta” at the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards.

J Balvin, Bad Bunny, and Ozuna Win Top Latin Artist of the Year

The top Latin artist of the year went to a trio of superstars. J Balvin, Bad Bunny, and Ozuna took home the coveted prize at the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards.

The three artists were up against some stiff competition in the category, including Anuel AA, Karol G, Ozuna, and Romeo Santos. But in the end, it was J Balvin, Bad Bunny, and Ozuna who came out on top.

This is the second consecutive year that J Balvin has won the award. He previously won it in 2020.

Bad Bunny and Ozuna have both won the award once before. Bad Bunny won it in 2019, while Ozuna won it in 2018.
