Illyus & Barrientos

Illyus & Barrientos are a Glasgow-based DJ and production duo, composed of Andrew Renton and Steven Barrientos. The pair met while studying at the city’s college of music and began making music together in 2012. They have since released a number of EPs and singles on a variety of labels, including their own imprint, What You Need Recordings. Their debut album, These Nights, was released in 2018 to critical acclaim.

Illyus & Barrientos’ sound is a unique blend of deep house, tech house, and Disco which has seen them gain support from some of the biggest names in dance music, including Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Calvin Harris, and Solomun. In 2019, they were nominated for ‘Best Breakthrough Act’ at the DJ Awards in Ibiza.

The duo are currently working on their second album, due for release in 2021.

RÜFÜS DU SOL

RÜFÜS DU SOL is a three-piece electronic band from Australia, consisting of members Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George and James Hunt. The band’s name comes from the German translation of “Rooftops”, which was the working title for their debut album ATLAS.

The group’s debut album was released in 2013 to critical acclaim, and their follow-up album Bloom (2016) was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2017 Grammy Awards. In 2019, the band released their third album Solace, which won Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2020 Grammy Awards.

RÜFÜS DU SOL is currently signed to Foreign Family Collective, a label founded by Odesza.
