The 2021 Soul Train Music Awards are just around the corner, and we have your exclusive list of who will be gracing the stage this year!

Introduction

The 2021 Soul Train Music Awards will feature appearances and performances by some of the biggest names in soul, R&B, and hip-hop. This year’s ceremony will be hosted by actor and comedian Lil Rel Howery, and will feature performances by Anderson .Paak, Big Sean, Burna Boy, Chloe x Halle, Ella Mai, HER, Jhené Aiko, John Legend, Lil Baby, Lucky Daye, Megan Thee Stallion, Musiq Soulchild, Silk Sonic (Bruno Mars & Anderson .Paak), Snoop Dogg, Sweat 1000 (Keith Sweat & Roy Ayers), Tank and the Bangas, The Roots, Usher featuring Boyz II Men.

The awards show will also feature tributes to artists who have made an impact on the soul train music Awards throughout the years. This year’s honorees include Bobby Brown, Snoop Dogg, Smokey Robinson and SWV.

Main Performers

The 2021 Soul Train Music Awards are set to be a star-studded event with some of the biggest names in music set to perform. This year’s lineup includes Bruno Mars, H.E.R., Alicia Keys, Usher, and many more. The awards ceremony will take place on November 28, 2021, at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Usher

Usher Raymond IV, known mononymously as Usher, is an American singer and songwriter. He rose to fame in the late 1990s with the release of his second album My Way, which spawned his first U.S. Billboard Hot 100 number-one single, “Nice & Slow”. The album’s success was amplified with the release of its second single “You Make Me Wanna…”, which peaked at number two on the Hot 100. It produced his first Grammy Award wins, for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song, respectively. His next two albums, 8701 (2001) and Confessions (2004), established his international superstardom and produced numerous chart-topping singles, including “U Remind Me”, “U Got It Bad”, “Yeah!”, “Burn”, “Confessions Part II”, and “My Boo”.

H.E.R.

Her performance will sure to be one for the books! With 7 Grammy Awards and 2 BET Awards already under her belt, this R&B sensation has taken the music industry by storm since releasing her first project in 2016. At only 23 years old, she is a force to be reckoned with and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us at the 2021 Soul Train Music Awards.

Lil Wayne

As the founder of Young Money Entertainment and Cash Money Records, Lil Wayne has become one of the most prolific artists in rap history. He’s released more than a dozen studio albums, mixtapes, and EPs, and he’s collaborated with some of the biggest names in music. His latest album, “Funeral,” was released in 2020 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. He’s also won five Grammy Awards, including Best Rap Album for “Tha Carter III.”

Doja Cat is a singer, songwriter, rapper and model from Los Angeles, California. She first gained attention for her eccentric style and unique sound in the hip hop and R&B world with her single “Mooo!” in 2018. Doja Cat has since released two studio albums, “Hot Pink” and “Planet Her”, both of which have been met with critical acclaim. Throughout her career, Doja Cat has won multiple awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Rap Song in 2020.

Chloe x Halle

Chloe x Halle are an American R&B duo composed of sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey. They are signed to Beyoncé’s label Parkwood Entertainment. The sisters released their debut album, The Kids Are Alright, in 2018. The album peaked at number 44 on the Billboard 200 and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Chloe x Halle have also appeared in the television series Grown-ish, and have released three promotional singles for the show.

City Girls

City Girls is an American hip hop duo from Miami, composed of Yung Miami and JT. The group was formed in 2015 and signed to Quality Control Music. They released their debut studio album, Period, in 2018.

The duo is set to perform at the 2021 Soul Train Music Awards.
