However, this information has not been confirmed by the CMA.

Vocal Duo of the Year

The Vocal Duo of the Year is a award presented at the Country Music Association (CMA) Awards, which are held annually to recognize achievement in country music. The award was first presented in 1967, and has been given out every year since then with the exception of 1970.

The finalists for the award are chosen by a vote of CMA members, who are made up of industry professionals such as musicians, producers, and engineers. The winner is then chosen by a panel of music critics and historians.

Album of the Year

If there’s one album that lives up to its name in 2020, it’s Miranda Lambert’s Wildcard. The project is a masterclass in songcraft, with each of the 13 tracks feeling like a potential radio hit. It’s also a deeply personal album for Lambert, who opens up about her divorce from Blake Shelton and her struggle to find herself again. “I needed to write an album about what I was going through,” Lambert told the Tennessean. “I’ve been divorced, I’ve been heartbroken, I’ve had some really great days, I’ve had some really tough days.” Throughout it all, Lambert never loses sight of who she is: a country music superstar with a gift for writing songs that speak to the human condition.
