The nominees for the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards have been announced! See who’s up for the coveted Entertainer of the Year award and more.

Entertainer of the Year

The Entertainer of the Year nominees for the 56th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards were announced this morning. This esteemed award is voted on by the members of the Academy and recognizes an artist who has delivered a year of outstanding performances.

The nominees for Entertainer of the Year are:
-Luke Bryan
-Kenny Chesney
-Eric Church
-Miranda Lambert
– Blake Shelton

These five artists have all had a phenomenal year and it’s going to be an exciting show waiting to see who takes home the coveted Entertainer of the Year trophy.

Male Vocalist of the Year

This award is presented to the male vocalist who has delivered the best performance in a recorded song during the eligibility period.

The nominees for this award are:
-Tom Coyne
-Chris Stapleton
-Dierks Bentley
-Keith Urban

Female Vocalist of the Year

Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves, Kelsea Ballerini, and Maren Morris are the nominees for female vocalist of the year.

Vocal Duo of the Year

The nominees for Vocal Duo of the Year are Florida Georgia Line, Brothers Osborne, Brookes & Dunn, and Maddie & Tae.

Vocal Group of the Year

This award goes to the artist with the best vocal performance by a group. This can be determined by many factors such as sales, radio airplay, streaming, touring, and awards.

New Male Vocalist of the Year

The New Male Vocalist of the Year is a prestigious award given to up-and-coming male country music singers. This year, the nominees are:

-Brett Eldredge
-Chase Rice
-Sam Hunt
-Thomas Rhett

All of the nominees are extremely talented and have had great success in the country music industry. Brett Eldredge is a former winner of the New Artist of the Year award, and his debut album went platinum. Chase Rice has co-written some of the biggest hits in country music, including “Cruise” by Florida Georgia Line. Sam Hunt’s debut album was a huge success, and he has been hailed as one of the most innovative artists in country music. Thomas Rhett’s debut album also went platinum, and he has had multiple number one singles on the country music charts.

The winner of this award will be announced at the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards, which will be held on April 3, 2021.

New Female Vocalist of the Year

Each year, the Academy of Country Music Awards honors the biggest and brightest stars in country music with a ceremony that is always a highlight of the music calendar. This year, the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards will take place on Sunday, April 5th, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ahead of the big event, we are taking a look at some of this year’s nominees in key categories. Today, we turn our attention to the New Female Vocalist of the Year category, which is always one of the most competitive and coveted awards of the night. This year’s nominees are:

New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year

The nominees for New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year are Brothers Osborne, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Maddie & Tae and The Railers.

Album of the Year

The nominees for the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards were announced on Thursday, February 12th. The award for Album of the Year will go to one of the following five albums:
-“Janson Gospel” by Chris Janson
-“Lost in Translation” by Kelsea Ballerini
-“Ridin’ High Above the Clouds” by Old Dominion
– “The Diversion” by Junk Gypsy Company
– “Together We Rise” by RaeLynn.

Single Record of the Year

The following five songs are nominated for Single Record of the Year. This award is given to the artist and producer(s) of a single track.

Video of the Year

The 56th Academy of Country Music Awards is set to air live on Sunday, April 3 at 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS. This year’s show, hosted by Reba McEntire, will feature performances by Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Carrie Underwood, Florida Georgia Line, Kelsea Ballerini, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and more.
