To date, it is the best-selling Bachata album of all time.

Shakira’s success continued with her fifth studio album Fijación Oral, Vol. 1 (2005), which spawned hits such as “La Tortura” and “Hips Don’t Lie”.

Enrique Iglesias is a Spanish singer, songwriter, actor and record producer. He is widely considered as the King of Latin Pop. Enrique Iglesias has sold over 170 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling Spanish artists ever. In 2010, he was proclaimed as the “Hero of the Decade” by fashion magazine Hola!.
Iglesias started his career in the mid-1990s on American Spanish-language record label Fonovisa Records under the stage name Enrique Martinez, before switching to his real name. His 1996 debut album, Cosas del Amor, became one of the best-selling albums in Spanish-language history. It topped Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart for 19 non-consecutive weeks and included four number-one hits on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart: “Si Tú Te Vas”, “Experiencia Religiosa”, “Por Amarte” and “No Llores por Mí”. The album went 15× Platinum in Spain and 10× Platinum in Mexico.
Enrique Iglesias has released ten studio albums, five compilation albums, forty-nine singles (including fifteen as a featured artist), and ten promotional singles. He has toured across four continents as part of his many world tours.
Juanes
Juanes rose to fame in the early 2000s as a leading proponent of what is known as “musica para desatar tu pelo” (“music to let your hair down”), a lyrically exuberant cross-pollination of rock, pop, and traditional Colombian cumbia. In the years since, Juanes has built one of the most successful careers in Latin music by expanding his sound while staying true to his roots. His 2013 album La vida es un ratico was his fifth consecutive release to debut at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart, and he is the only artist in history to have performed at all five major music festivals: Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Glastonbury, and Rock in Rio.

Carlos Alberto Vives Restrepo is a Colombian singer, composer and actor. He is widely recognized for his groundbreaking fusion of rock and traditional Latin American music. Born and raised in Colombia, he began his musical career as a rock singer in the 1980s. In the 1990s, Vives achieved success with his innovative blend of Vallenato folk music and rock. His biggest hits include “La Tierra del Olvido,” “Fruto Fresco,” “Volvierte a Ver,” “Déjame Entrar” and “Cuando Nos Volvamos a Encontrar.”
Gloria Estefan
Gloria Estefan is a Cuban-American singer, songwriter, actress, and businesswoman. She is one of the most successful crossover performers in Latin music history, and is often referred to as the “Queen of Latin Pop”. Throughout her career, she has won three Grammy Awards and has sold over 100 million records worldwide. In 2015, she was inducted into the Florida Artists Hall of Fame.
Born in Havana, Cuba, Estefan immigrated to the United States with her family in 1959. She began her career as a backing vocalist for the Miami Sound Machine and rose to fame with their hit single “Conga” in 1985. She subsequently established herself as a solo artist with a series of successful albums, including 1990’s Mi Tierra, which won her a Grammy Award for Best Tropical Latin Album.
Estefan has also appeared in several films and television shows, including The Mambo Kings (1992) and Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003). She has been active in philanthropy and advocacy for humanitarian causes such as children’s welfare and relief efforts for victims of natural disasters such as Hurricane Katrina.

Shakira is a Colombian singer, songwriter, dancer, and record producer. Born and raised in Barranquilla, Shakira began performing in school, demonstrating Latin American, Arabic, and rock and roll influences and belly dancing abilities. She achieved commercial success with her major-label debut album Pies Descalzos (1996), and followed it with Dónde Están los Ladrones? (1998). His latest album, Confidencias Reales, was released in 2013 and debuted at number one on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart.
Mana
Mana is a Mexican rock band from Guadalajara, Jalisco. The group’s history began in 1986 when singer Fher Olvera and drummer Alex González formed the group while they were still in high school. When they met bassist Sergio Vallin and guitarist Juan Calleros, they found the lineup that would stay together for more than 20 years.
Throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s, Mana built a fanbase throughout Mexico by performing at small venues and releasing a series of independent albums. In 1992, they released their breakthrough album ¿Dónde Jugarán los Niños?, which sold 2 million copies in Latin America and made them one of the most popular bands in the region. They have since released nine additional studio albums, all of which have topped the Latin album charts.
Mana has won four Grammy Awards and six Latin Grammy Awards. They have also been nominated for three Brit Awards and six MTV Video Music Awards, winning one VMA each. In 2010, Billboard magazine ranked Mana as the most influential Latin band of the decade.
