These awards recognize the most popular albums, songs, and artists in Latin music, as well as the year’s best-performing Latin songs in the United States. This year’s awards will be hosted by Mexican singer, actress, and television host Alejandra Espinoza.

This year’s awards show will feature performances by some of the biggest names in Latin music, including Daddy Yankee, Luis Fonsi, Shakira, Ozuna and more.
The nominees for the 2018 Billboard Latin Music Awards were announced on Wednesday (March 21), with Daddy Yankee leading the pack with 12 nods. Ozuna follows closely behind with 11 nominations, while Maluma and Bad Bunny are tied with 10 each.

This year’s nominees were announced on Wednesday (April 11), and leading the pack are J. Balvin and Ozuna with 16 nominations each.

The awards show, which is now in its 19th year, will once again be broadcast live from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. This year’s show is being produced by Ricky Martin and features some of the biggest names in Latin music including Armando Christian Perez (a.k.a Pitbull), Luis Fonsi and Ozuna.
The awards show will also feature performances by Daddy Yankee, Luis Miguel, J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Natti Natasha, Gente de Zona and more. In addition, Martin will be honored with the 2018 Billboard Latin Music Award for Lifetime Achievement.
