Metallica teamed up with The San Francisco Symphony Orchestra for a special performance of their song “All Within My Hands” back in 1999, and now, the footage from that event is being released as a music video. The video, which was directed by Wayne Isham, is set to be released on December 4th.
Slipknot- “Unsainted”
“Unsainted” is the first single from Slipknot’s upcoming album We Are Not Your Kind. The song was released on May 16, 2019, along with its music video. The video was directed by the band’s own M. Shawn Crahan.
The video starts with a close-up of a blackbird’s eye as it sits atop a cross. The bird suddenly transforms into a hooded figure, played by Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor. The figure walks through a dark forest and enters a church full of worshippers. He then proceeds to slaughter everyone in the church with his bare hands.
The video is intercut with footage of the band performing the song on stage. At the end of the video, the hooded figure is seen again, this time covered in blood and with his face revealved. The figure is Corey Taylor, and the video ends with him repeating the line “We are not your kind.”
Behemoth- “God = Dog”
Polish metal veterans Behemoth have released a new video for “God = Dog,” a track from their upcoming album, I Loved You At Your Darkest. The album, which is due out October 5 via Metal Blade, was produced by the band’s long-time collaborator, Mateusz Kowalczyk, and features artwork by aerial photographer Piotr Skubański.
Directed by Dariusz Zawiślak and put together by Zawiślak and Tomasz Danilowicz of tickingbombFilms.com, the “God = Dog” video is a stark black-and-white affair that perfectly matches the song’s feral intensity.
“‘God = Dog’ is yet another blasphemous statementabout the sacrilegious nature of this world,” says frontmand Adam “Nergal” Darski. “I am proud to state that we have never compromised our artistic vision or integrity, not even for a second, and we never will.”
Tool- “Fear Inoculum”
Tool fans have waited 13 long years for new music, and the band finally delivered with their latest album, Fear Inoculum. The first single off the album is the title track, and it comes with an incredible music video. The video was recorded live at the sold-out AT&T Park in San Francisco back in September of 2019 during the final concert of the Metallica & San Francisco Symphony: S&M2 event.
