Introduction
Heavy metal and hard rock are two genres of music that are often confused. Though they share some similarities, they are actually quite different. Heavy metal is a genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s. It is characterized by its aggressive sound and its use of distorted guitars, bass guitars, and drums. Hard rock, on the other hand, is a genre of rock music that developed in the mid-1960s. It is characterized by its heavy sound and its use of guitars, bass guitars, and drums.

“AC/DC” is a song by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It is the opening track on the band’s debut album, High Voltage, and was released as a single in 1975. The song was written by Angus Young, Malcolm Young, and Bon Scott.
The song is based around a simple guitar riff played by Angus Young with minimal accompaniment from the other instruments. The lyrics are about the band’s music, with Scott singing that “AC/DC” is “thunderstruck”. The song has been included on several compilation and live albums, and was ranked number 153 on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

Metallica is an American heavy metal band. The band was formed in 1981 in Los Angeles, California, United States by drummer Lars Ulrich and vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield, and has been based in San Francisco, California for most of its career. Metallica’s current lineup comprises founding members Hetfield and Ulrich, longtime lead guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo. Guitarist Dave Mustaine (who went on to form Megadeth) and bassists Ron McGovney and Cliff Burton (who died in 1986) are former members of the band.
The band’s articles of association set out its main purpose as being “to get people off their asses and into a mosh pit”. They have released ten studio albums, four live albums, five extended plays (EPs), 37 singles, 10 video albums, 41 music videos. The band has won nine Grammy Awards from 23 nominationsebzia

The song opens with a slow, ominous riff played by Iommi, which sets the tone for the rest of the song. Ozzy Osbourne’s lyrics describe a nightmare in which he is being chased by evil spirits. The song builds to a climax with a solo by Iommi and a pounding drum riff from Bill Ward.

Bruce Dickinson became the band’s lead vocalist in 1983, while drummer Nicko McBrain replaced Clive Burr from 1984 onwards.
Iron Maiden released a series of US and UK platinum and gold albums throughout the 1980s. Their sixth studio album, 1990’s No Prayer for the Dying, marked a change in direction with the addition of synthesisers and more commercialised ballads. 1992’s Fear of the Dark reached number one in several countries; it was their last album to feature Dickinson until his return 17 years later. During this time John McAfee was brought on as touring guitarist for performances in South America while Janick Gers replaced Adrian Smith on a full-time basis until 1999.
Blaize Clement (formerly of Lillian Axe) joined as touring drummer during this time before full-time drummer Michael Kenney (Annihilator, ASKA) came aboard for 2000’s Brave New World. Eddie Casillas took over from Kenney shortly thereafter but was let go prior to 2002’s Dance of Death due to creative differences with Harris. Nicko McBrain rejoined for 2004’s A Matter of Life and Death which received positive reviews from music critics upon its release; it is also Maiden’s longest studio album to date at over 79 minutes in length. The’dance-oriented’ 2006 release A Matter of Life and Death was followed by another best-of collection featuring two new tracks titled Somewhere Back in Time (2008). The band embarked on another world tour before releasing their fifteenth studio album, 2010’s The Final Frontier, to positive reviews once again; it peaked at number one in 28 countries including their native UK where it became their sixth consecutive number one album. Sixteen months later they released another double live album entitled En Vivo!, recorded during The Final Frontier World Tour at Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos in Santiago, Chile on 10 April 2011 which debuted at number one on Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart giving them their first US chart-topping debut since 1988.[3] After touring extensively for three years to support both releases they began work on their sixteenth studio album entitled The Book of Souls which was released worldwide on 4 September 2015; it debuted atop the UK Albums Chart giving them an unprecedented ninth overall UK number one album.[4][5]
