Who is being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2022?

Fans will have to wait until October to see McEntire take her rightful place in the Country Music Hall of Fame. The official induction ceremony will take place on October 24 at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center and will be taped for a future broadcast on ABC and CMA Country Christmas.

Ricky Skaggs

Ricky Skaggs will be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2022. He is a country music singer, songwriter, musician, and producer. Skaggs was born in 1954 in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. He began playing music at an early age, and by the time he was five years old, he was already playing the mandolin. Skaggs’ career took off in the early 1980s when he joined the country supergroup, The Highwaymen. He has since released more than 20 albums, including his most recent, “Mosaic.”

Jerry Douglas

Jerry Douglas is an American bluegrass Dobro player. He is best known as a member of Alison Krauss and Union Station and has appeared on over 1,600 recordings. In addition to his work as a sideman, Douglas has released fourteen solo albums and won fourteen Grammy Awards. He will be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2022.
