The Country Music Award Winners for 2021 have been announced, and we’ve got all the details for you right here!

Entertainer of the Year

The entertainer of the year is the top award given out at the Country Music Awards. The award goes to the artist who had the biggest impact on the country music industry in a given year. This can be measured in terms of album sales, touring, radio airplay, or any other metric that the CMAs deem relevant. The award is voted on by a panel of industry experts and is not open to public voting.

The nominees for entertainer of the year are always a who’s who of country music, and this year was no different. The nominees were:

-Kenny Chesney
-Eric Church
-Miranda Lambert
-Reba McEntire

And the winner is…Luke Bryan!

Male Vocalist of the Year

The Country Music Award Winners for 2021 have been announced and Luke Bryan is the Male Vocalist of the Year! This is his fourth time winning this award and he beat out some stiff competition, including previous winner Chris Stapleton. Bryan is also nominated for Album of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.

Female Vocalist of the Year

The female vocalist of the year award goes to Maren Morris for her album “GIRL.” Maren Morris is a 31-year-old singer and songwriter from Arlington, Texas. She has released five studio albums and one live album. Her most recent album, “GIRL,” was released in March of 2019.

Vocal Duo of the Year

The Country Music Association has announced the nominees for the 56th annual CMA Awards, which recognize excellence in the country music industry. The awards will be handed out at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 11, 2020. Brothers Osborne, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line and Maddie & Tae are vying for vocal duo of the year.

Vocal Group of the Year

The Country Music Association has announced the nominees for the 56th annual CMA Awards, and Little Big Town is once again in the running for Vocal Group of the Year.

The four-piece group — made up of Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook — has won the prestigious award eight times in the past, most recently in 2019. They’re also nominated this year for Single of the Year (for “Wine, Beer, Whiskey”) and Musical Event of the Year (for “Forever And A Night” with Keith Urban).

Little Big Town isn’t the only act with multiple nominations at this year’s CMAs: Maren Morris is up for five awards, including Album of the Year (GOLDEN HOUR) and Female Vocalist of the Year. Chris Stapleton is also nominated five times, including Entertainer of the Year.

Other top nominees include Ashley McBryde, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley, Reba McEntire, expire Scotty McCreery. The full list of nominees can be found on the CMA website.

The 56th annual CMA Awards will air live on ABC on November 11th.

New Artist of the Year

The Country Music Association has announced the nominees for the 56th Annual CMA Awards, with Ashley McBryde leading the pack with six nods..Here are the nominees in full:

Album of the Year

The album of the year goes to Miranda Lambert for “Wildcard.” Lambert is no stranger to the CMAs, having won the award in 2016 and 2018.

Single of the Year

The Single of the Year award goes to the artist and producer(s) of an eligible single. The song must have been commercially released in 2020 and must have reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart or No. 1 on the Mediabase Country Radio chart between Dec. 8, 2019, and Nov. 28, 2020.

Song of the Year

This award goes to the songwriter(s) of the winning song.
The nominees for Song of the Year are:

“The Bones” – Written by Maren Morris, Jimmy Robbins and Greg Kurstin

The Country Music Award Winners for 2021 have been announced and this year’s Musical Event of the Year goes to Carrie Underwood and David Yazbek for their collaboration on the song “The Broken Hearts Club.”
