The Country Music Hall of Fame Channel is the official YouTube channel of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee.

Introduction

From country music legends to up-and-coming artists, the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum’s new exhibit, The Legends of Country Music Channel, celebrates the stories and songs of more than 80 Hall of Fame members. The Channel offers an immersive experience, chronicling country music’s rich history through rotating programs that feature artifacts, video, and personal reflections from some of the genre’s biggest stars.

The Legends of Country Music Channel is located in the Museum’s Ford Theater. The exhibit is included with Museum admission.

The Channel’s History

The Country Music Hall of Fame Channel began as a cooperative effort between the Country Music Association (CMA) and the Gaylord Entertainment Company (now known as Ryman Hospitality Properties) in 1995. The channel was originally launched as CMA cable, and later renamed CMT pure country. The channel was then renamed The Nashville Network (TNN) in 1999.

The Country Music Hall of Fame

The Country Music Hall of Fame is a museum and hall of fame in Nashville, Tennessee, that celebrates the history and legacy of country music. The Museum first opened its doors to the public in 1967, with the goal of preserving and celebrating the music and its history.

Since then, the Museum has expanded its collection to include over 2.5 million items, including instruments, recordings, performance outfits, photographs, film footage, and more. The Museum also hosts regular exhibitions and events, which are open to the public.

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

The Country Music Hall of Fame Channel offers a wide range of programming, from live concerts to documentaries to educational shows. The channel also offers a variety of country music-themed shows, such as “Country Music 101” and “Nashville Insider.” The channel is a great resource for country music fans of all ages.

Original Series

The channel has produced a number of original series, many of which focus on the history and culture of country music. These include “The Storytellers”, ” Road to Nashville”, “From The Heart”, and “Country Music Hall of Fame.” In addition to these, the channel has produced a number of specials, including “The History of Country Music”, “Women in Country Music”, and “The Evolution of Country Music.”

Concerts

The Country Music Hall of Fame channel is Marty Stuart’s love letter to country music, and that means there’s plenty of country music programming to enjoy. In addition to shows that explore the history of the genre and its many subgenres, the channel also airs concerts featuring some of the biggest names in country music. You can catch classic performances as well as new concert specials featuring today’s top artists.

The Channel’s Awards

The Country Music Hall of Fame Channel’s Awards are an annual event that honors the best and brightest in country music. The Awards are given out in a number of categories, including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and more.

The Channel’s Future

The Country Music Hall of Fame Channel is an American country music television channel that is owned by the Country Music Association (CMA). The channel was launched on September 30, 2016, replacing former general interest music channel Pearl.

The Country Music Hall of Fame Channel airs a mix of programming from the CMA Awards, concert specials, and original programming featuring biographies and documentaries about country music performers and history. As of February 2017, the channel is available to approximately 50 million television households in the United States.

The Country Music Hall of Fame Channel has been involved in controversy since its launch due to its limited availability on pay television providers. In October 2016, it was reported that the channel was not available on AT&T U-verse and that negotiations between the CMA and AT&T had stalled due to disagreements over carriage fees. On November 3, 2016, Dish Network removed the channel from its lineup due to a carriage dispute.
