BTS
BTS is a South Korean boy band formed in 2013. The septet—composed of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—co-writes and co-produces much of their own output. Built upon the “IDOL” concept, BTS’ aim is to break the typical idol group mold. Their music explores a wide range of genres, including hip hop, pop, rock, and R&B.

1) Asia World Tour ‘Love Yourself: Speak Yourself’
BTS will kick off their Asia World Tour ‘Love Yourself: Speak Yourself’ in May, and it’s set to be even bigger than their previous tours. The tour will span 11 cities across Asia, including Bangkok, Jakarta, Manila, Singapore, and more. This will be the first time that BTS is performing in some of these cities, so fans are sure to be out in force to support them.
2) New Music
BTS has already released two albums in 2021 (‘BE’ and ‘MAP OF THE SOUL: 7’), but they’re not done yet. The group is reportedly working on new music that will be released later this year. With three albums in one year, BTS is sure to have plenty of new material to perform on their world tour.
3) Grammys Performance
BTS made history earlier this year when they became the first K-pop group to be nominated for a Grammy Award. They’re also set to make history again as the first K-pop group to perform at the awards show. This is a huge accomplishment for BTS and fans are eagerly awaiting their performance.
4) Tianfu Cup Soccer Championship
In addition to their musical achievements, BTS is also scheduled to participate in the Tianfu Cup Soccer Championship later this year. EXO is a South Korean–Chinese boy band based in Seoul, with nine members: Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai and Sehun. The band was formed by SM Entertainment in 2011 and debuted in 2012. Their music incorporates genres like pop, hip-hop, and R&B, alongside electronic dance music genres like house, trap, and synth-pop.
EXO released two Korean albums in 2020: Don’t Mess Up My Tempo in November 2018 and Obsession in December 2019. The former peaked at number one on the US Billboard World Albums chart and the latter debuted at number one on the Gaon Album Chart. The group also released their second studio album Exodus in March 2015 which peaked at number one on both the US Billboard World Albums chart and the Gaon Album Chart. 20112020 marked EXO’s ninth anniversary since debut. To commemorate the occasion, SM Entertainment released a special album titled DON’T FIGHT THE FEELING on May 7th. The album contains five new songs: “Don’t Fight The Feeling”, “Telephone”, “Run Away”, “All I Wanna Do”, ” Gravity”.

ARE YOU READY? CAUSE GOT7 IS! GOT7 is coming for the Asian Pop Music Awards 2021 and they are bringing the heat! The group recently made a comeback with their track “Breath of Love” and it is certified bop. They are also nominated for 5 awards, so make sure to keep an eye out for them on the big night!

GOT7 is a seven-member boy group under JYP Entertainment. They debuted on January 16th, 2014, with the mini album ‘Got It?’. The group currently consists of JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom.
GOT7 has had a successful year in 2020 despite the ongoing pandemic. They kicked off the year by releasing their ninth mini album ‘DYE’ in February, which topped various domestic and international music charts. The group then went on to release their tenth mini album ‘SPINNING TOP: BETWEEN SECURITY AND INSECURITY’ in May and their fourth full album ‘BREAKTHROUGH’ in September. All three albums were commercial successes and helped GOT7 solidify their position as one of the leading K-pop groups.
In terms of awards, GOT7 won the Daesang (Grand Prize) at the Soribada Best K-Music Awards 2020 in August, becoming the first group to win the award twice. They also won Best Male Group at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) 2020 in December.

GOT7 is set to make their comeback in March with their ninth mini album, “Dye,” and its title track, “Not By The Moon.” The group will also be appearing on the JTBC variety show, “Ask Us Anything,” on March 13.
On February 26, it was announced that GOT7 will be appearing on the Chinese variety show, “Happy Camp.” This will be the group’s first time appearing on the show.
GOT7 is also set to have a reality show called “Real GOT7” that will air on Naver TV Cast and YouTube Red. The show will follow the members as they go about their daily lives and prepare for their comeback.
SEVENTEEN
Seventeen is a South Korean boy group that debuted in 2015 under Pledis Entertainment. The group is composed of thirteen members: S. Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino. They are known for their synchronized dancing and powerful vocal performances.

SEVENTEEN has been impressing fans with their incredible musical skills and outstanding visuals since their 2015 debut, and they continue to set the standard for K-pop boy bands. The group’s music is always fresh and innovative, and their live performances are electrifying. Seventeen is beloved by fans around the world, and they have won numerous awards, including the Asia Artist Award for Best Male Group in 2019 and 2020.
The group had an incredible year in 2020, despite the Covid-19 pandemic. They released two albums that topped the charts, “Heng:garæ” and “Semicolon,” and held a successful virtual concert series, “IN-COMPLETE.” Seventeen also made history as the first K-pop group to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards.

SEVENTEEN is a South Korean boy group formed by Pledis Entertainment in 2015. The group is composed of 13 members: S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino. Seventeen has been active since their debut in 2015 and has released two studio albums and eight extended plays.
The group debuted on May 26 with the mini album 17 Carat. The album sold over 200,000 copies in South Korea, making it the highest-selling album by a rookie group in 2014. Seventeen won several “Rookie of the Year” awards at year-end award ceremonies such as the Melon Music Awards and Mnet Asian Music Awards.
In 2016, Seventeen released their second mini album Boys Be followed by their first studio album Love & Letter which debuted at number one on the Billboard World Albums Chart. The album became the best-selling album by a K-pop artist in Japan in two years. Seventeen’s second studio album Teenage Fever was released in 2017 and peaked at number two on the Gaon Album Chart.
The group’s third studio album An Ode was released in 2019 and debuted atop both theGaon Album Chart and Billboard World Albums Chart—making Seventeen the first Korean act to achieve this feat. It is also one of only three albums by Korean artists to debut atop both charts. In 2020, Seventeen held their first online concert “IN-COMPLETE” due to the COVID-19 pandemic which drew 1 million viewers from 187 countries worldwide within 24 hours of going live on YouTube. At the end of 2020, they were named “Artist of the Year” by both Gaon Chart and Billboard Korea.
In 2021, Jeonghan will star as one of the leads in drama “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” while DK will be appearing on variety show “Master in the House”. Vernon will also be appearing on “You Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook”.
TWICE
TWICE is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment in 2015. The group is composed of nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. The group has sold over 56 million albums, making them the best-selling girl group in South Korea of all time. They have also won numerous awards, including the Asian Pop Music Awards for Best Group twice.

TWICE made their Japanese debut in June 2017 with the release of the compilation album #Twice. The album includes Korean-language versions of the group’s previous singles “TT” and “Knock Knock”, as well as the original Japanese tracks “One More Time” and “Candy Pop”. In September, Twice held their first Japanese concert tour, named Twice Showcase Live Tour 2018 “Candy Pop”, performing in Fukuoka, Osaka, and Nagoya. The group’s second compilation album, titled Valentine Edition, was released on February 7, 2018. It includes the re-recorded versions of “Likey” and “Heart Shaker”, as well as new tracks “Candy Jelly Love” and “I Want You Back”.
The group’s third Japanese single, “Wake Me Up”, was released on May 16. On June 11 and 12, Twice held their second Japanese concert tour named Twice 2nd Tour: Twiceland Zone 2 – Fantasy Park at Osaka-jo Hall and Yokohama Arena respectively. The single album Summer Nights was released on July 9 and debuted at number 2 on the Oricon Singles Chart, selling more than 222,000 copies in its first week. In September, Twice held a two-day concert at Tokyo Dome as part of their TWICE Dome Tour 2018 “BDZ”. The tour became the first dome concert held by a foreign female artist since Hikaru Utada in 2003.
The group’s fourth Japanese single album titled Happy Happy was released on November 7. It debuted at number 3 on the Oricon Singles Chart, selling more than 202,000 copies in its first week. On December 19 and 20, Twice held their final concerts for the year at Kyocera Dome Osaka as part of TWICE Dome Tour 2019 “#Dreamday”. A total of 150,000 fans attended the two shows, making it the largest dome concert held by a foreign female artist in Japan.
In 2020, despite Covid19 putting a stop to many artists’ promotions, TWICE still managed to have a very successful year.
They started off 2020 with the release of their fifth Japanese single album titled Fancy You on April 22. The single album sold more than 400 thousand copies in Japan within days of its release . Later that month on April 29th they made a comeback in Korea with mini album Fancy You selling over 770 thousand copies . In May they won 5 awards at 6th Asia Artist Awards including Daesang(Grand Prize). In September they won 9 awards at Seoul Music Awards . At 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards they became double Million sellers Award winners with overall sales exceeding 4 million . They also won 10 awards out of 11 nominations at Golden Disc Awards , 5 awards out of 8 nominations including daesang(grand prize)at 27th high1 Seoul Music Awards Lastly TWICE won artist of the year award at 29th Japan Gold Disc Award becoming first female Korean group to achieve such an honor,”

According to recent reports, TWICE is preparing to release new music in early 2021. This will be their first release in over six months, and fans are incredibly excited to see what they have in store.
While details about the upcoming release are being kept under wraps, it is said that the girls have already started filming the music video for the lead single. Filming is taking place in South Korea, and it is expected to be completed before the end of the year.
TWICE’s last release was the single “I CAN’T STOP ME,” which was released in October 2020. The track quickly rose to the top of charts around the world, and its accompanying music video has amassed over 100 million views on YouTube.
