The song was later covered by Whitney Houston for the film “The Bodyguard”. The cover became one of the best-selling singles of all time and helped Whitney Houston achieve global superstardom.
“End of the Road” by Boyz II Men
“End of the Road” is a song recorded by American R&B group Boyz II Men for the film Boomerang (1992). It was written and produced by Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, L.A. Reid, and Daryl Simmons. The song was released on July 7, 1992, by Motown Records as the lead single from the film’s soundtrack album. It spent a record-breaking 13 weeks at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
