Hayedeh (Persian: هایده‎) (born Masoumeh Bakhtiaripour; April 15, 1942 – January 8, 1990) was an Iranian singer and one of the most popular and influential Iranian vocalists with a career spanning more than three decades. Hayedeh’s first public performance came at the age of 16, singing “Leyli Jan” at a Nowruz celebration in Tehran. This performance sparked her interest in becoming a professional singer. In 1962, Hayedeh sang for the first time on Iranian national television. Shortly thereafter, she became one of Iran’s most popular singers and released her first album, Talagh (Persian: تلفظ‎), in 1963.

During her career, Hayedeh released over 50 albums of both traditional Persian music and modern pop music. Her signature style incorporated classical Persian singing techniques with modern musical arrangements. She often collaborated with famous Iranian composers such as Ruhollah Khaleghi, Hassan Shamaizadeh, and Iraj Mirza. Her best-known song is “Ey Iran” (Persian: ای ایران‎), which has become an iconic patriotic anthem in Iran.

Hayedeh’s success came to a sudden halt with the Iranian Revolution in 1979. Like many other artists in Iran, she was forced to retire from public life and her work was banned from radio and television. Dariush is a Persian singer, songwriter, composer and actor. He began his career in the late 1960s and has released more than 40 albums. His most recent album, Chehreh, was released in 2016.

In 1996, he starred in Leila , a film about an Iranian woman who is forced to prostitution to support her family. The film won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival.

Dariush has continued to release new albums throughout his career. His most recent album, Chehreh (The Face), was released in 2016.

Mahasti

Mahasti ( Persian: مهستی‎, also Romanized as Mahastī) was an Iranian Singer .

Born in Tehran, Iran. Her father, Morteza Kazemian, was a musician and her mother was a homemaker. Mahasti began her musical career at the age of eighteen when she joined the band of Anoushiravan Rohani. She recorded her first album, “Forough-e-Yaar”, in 1974 with Rohani.
